Flair physiotherapy was set up to provide a new accessible service for musculoskeletal physiotherapy sessions. I offer domiciliary visits and virtual sessions for people who need them. As well as launching a specialist service for horse riders and polo players which includes injury rehab tailored, Strength, mobility and fitness classes using the best of Pilates, yoga and strength and condition, and finally biomechanics sessions for horse riding and swing analysis.
Physio that comes to you
I want you to be able to get the care you need without having to leave the comfort of your home, so I can either see you virtually or I can come to you. This means you don't have to think about parking, daycare or finding transport. Physio at home is really the easiest way of getting the best rehab without the stress.
For horse riders, I am also happy to run sessions at your stables.
Virtual Appointments
These are suitable for most musculoskeletal conditions. They are easy to access as we use a specially designed web video program made for doing virtual health consultations. There's no downloading or making accounts to keep it as easy as possible. this is accessed through our booking system. If you don't have internet access or aren't near a computer, we can also do phone calls.
These appointments mean there's no need for traveling to clinics which keeps life easy for you, so you get longer with a therapist for a better price.
Initial sessions for virtual physio are booked as 45 minutes, after that sessions are usually 30 minutes.
The evidence presented since COVID suggested that virtual physio is 96% as effective as in-person care.
There are some situations where online is not able to match an in-person session, in these situations, I am very happy to either organize a home visit with you or I have a small clinic room in Guildford.
Home Care
These sessions are great for anyone who might find it difficult to get to a clinic or if you don’t get along with virtual appointments. They especially suit post-stroke, post-operative or patients struggling with mobility and frailty-type conditions.
Because I travel to you these sessions they run at a more expensive. The initial session is expected to last 45 to 60 minutes, after that follow-ups are 30-45 minutes.
Yard Visits
If you’re a rider sometimes following an injury the hardest part is getting back on the horse. Often the movement for mounting and dismounting can be tricky so practicing this with me there can be useful.
A biomechanics session at the yard is also a great way to look at your posture and balance on the horse followed by strength and mobility sessions either at the yard - great fun as a group - or online.

I am a keen horse rider with two ponies that I do a mix of riding activities with including polo and train in Brazilian jujitsu.
I have previous physiotherapy experience working both in private MSK and in a hospital setting. Now at Flair physio I do virtual MSK physiotherapy and provide domically care in Guildford, A skill learned from previously doing care work in the same area.
Due to my interest in horse riding and polo I specialise in sports physio with an extra interest in equestrian-related injuries and love working with people to get them back on the horse, including coming to the yard to ensure a full return to activity and running equestrian fitness programs.
